Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Apnea Training App ("we", "our", "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application, available on iOS and Android.

1. Data We Collect

The App does not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information. We do not collect health data, location data, or contact information.

We collect the following anonymous, non-identifying data:

• Anonymous device identifier — a randomly generated ID assigned by Firebase to associate your device with app settings and subscription status. This is not linked to your identity.
• Usage analytics — aggregated and anonymous data such as the number of completed training sessions, feature usage, and app interactions.
• Subscription information — purchase and subscription status, processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and managed via RevenueCat.
• Technical diagnostics — crash reports and performance data to improve app stability.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

These services may collect anonymous technical data such as device type, operating system version, and general interaction patterns. None of this data is linked to your personal identity.

3. How We Use Data

The anonymous data we collect is used exclusively to:

• Provide and maintain the App's functionality
• Manage subscriptions and restore purchases
• Understand usage patterns to improve the training experience
• Diagnose and fix technical issues

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purposes described in this policy. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Anonymous analytics data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described above. Since we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no personal data to delete. If you wish to reset your anonymous identifier, you can uninstall and reinstall the App. For any data deletion requests related to third-party services, please contact us and we will assist you.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will promptly address the issue.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your data under applicable laws, including the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
